We will deliver your order using a nominated courier of our choice. Specific delivery details will be estimated at the time. Delivery services are available in most areas, however if our standard courier services are not available, we will advise. Products delivered outside United Kingdom and Europe are NOT shipped on a Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) basis.

A signature will be required upon receipt, so please ensure that you give an address where there the package can be received. If no one is available to receive your parcel, a calling card will be left to advise you on collection or re-delivery. A tracking number will be supplied via email when your order has been dispatched.

Please be aware that delivery costs quoted do not include import taxes or customs. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer (see further information below). When ordering from Flora Bhattachary you are considered the "importer of record". Please note that you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which our products are destined. We will not be liable for any breach by you of any such laws or incurred costs you may be subject to pay or for any delay due to products being held at customs.

All courier delivery services are subject to stock, courier area, availability and demand. Delivery times are estimated and cannot be guaranteed. Flora Bhattachary and/or our nominated carrier are not liable for any delay or failure to deliver your order within the estimated time frame and orders delivered outside the estimated delivery time due to delays cannot be compensated. If you would like to collect your order directly from our London studio, please contact us: info@florabhattachary.com to arrange and we will refund you your delivery charge.


All designs in our collections can be made-to-order and customised with a preferred type, colour or size of stone and metal. Many of our designs are especially made to order and can be personalised for your. Simply contact us to discuss the possibilities and lead times.  

We love giving heirloom pieces a new lease of life by re-modelling materials into contemporary ad fresh designs. Our insurance will cover your jewel for theft while it's in our possession. However, it is advisable to have your stone appraised prior to leaving it with us for re-setting. This will ensure that our insurance covers it at its accurate value. Where a client provides a stone for us to set - whether for a redesign or a new bespoke project, we recommend separate insurance. Gemstones can include natural flaws and inclusions which may cause breakage when setting.  This is a rare event, but for this reason your stones should be covered by your own insurance as we cannot accept responsibility for the removal or setting of stones that are supplied to us for incorporation into a bespoke piece.

For bespoke and customised orders we require a minimum 50% deposit as confirmation of your order before production starts. This deposit commits you to purchase and the order cannot be cancelled. The balance will be paid in full before collection or dispatch of the order. Payment can be made by debit card, credit card or bank transfer. Goods remain the property of Flora Bhattachary Fine Jewellery until full payment has been made. Please note that bespoke and customised orders are non refundable and cannot be returned.


We aim to please, but if you are not entirely satisfied with a purchase from our website we are happy to offer a refund. You must notify us within 14 working days of your receipt of the order via our returns link. Goods must be returned to us unworn, in perfect condition, and in its original packaging within 28 days from the original purchase. 

Please be aware that all special order purchases exempt from refund and exchange policies.

All returns should be sent in the original packaging via a secure signed for and insured postal service (Royal Mail Special Delivery in the UK, UPS, Fedex or DHL). We are not responsible for any issues encountered with your postage of your return. You must supply us with a tracking number and evidence of postage. The customer will be responsible for duties and taxes on any returned or refused orders and we will deduct these from the original cost of the order if charged.  We recommend that for international returns you mark your package "British Returned Products - No Commercial Value" as description of contents on all paperwork for your chosen carrier. However, customs duty charges may still be applied and the amount will be deducted from your merchandise refund.

We advise you to keep your proof of posting and to pack your jewellery with care in the original packaging. Please include your original order slip and notify us of the return here.

Once we are in receipt of the return we will credit your account within 14 days, for the full amount of the goods excluding any delivery charges.  


All orders are processed pending availability and payment verification. Most items in stock are processed within 3 working days. If an item needs to be made to order we will notify you of the expected turn around time on receipt of the order. Please be aware that these are estimated lead times and can be subject to changes.  We will notify you of any potential delays to an order.

We will only accept an order when we:

  • Receive full payment for of the order plus any applicable delivery charges
  • Can confirm your order is in stock and available
  • Can confirm we are able to deliver to the delivery address

An order takes place when you receive a confirmation email from us to the email you have provided. This is subject to our acceptance of your order, or your cancellation of the order in accordance with your statutory rights and our returns policy. Our confirmation email will notify you that we have dispatched the products you ordered. 

We reserve the right to refuse any orders prior to our acceptance and at our sole discretion. Prices will be subject to the exchange rate applied by your credit or debit card company. Should we take payment from you prior to non-acceptance of your order, we will refund you. Please note that refunds may take up to 14 business days or longer subject to your bank.

Non-acceptance may be the result of one of the following:

  • We are unable to fulfil the order because our goods are out of stock, faulty, or have a pricing error
  • We are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment. We will not accept an order if your card is due to expire within 28 days of your purchase date. You must provide and use and a valid payment method that we accept and you guarantee that you are authorised to use the payment card you provide us.
  • You do not meet our eligibility to purchase policy: 

    To purchase our products you warrant that you are 18 years or older; have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts; that your purchase is for private and individual use; and that you are not resident in a county where making a payment to our website would breach any laws in that county.

    All prices, discounts, and promotions posted on our website or other selling platforms may be subject to change without notice. The price charged for a product will be the price in effect at the time the order is placed and will be set out in your order confirmation email. Discounts offered are for one use by one customer only. Discounts are offered for a limited time period only (generally a maximum of two weeks) and are offered only on stock items that are ready to ship. Bespoke or customised items are not offered for online discounts. 


    We provide a six month warranty on all our jewellery from the date of purchase and to the original purchaser. Any goods with a manufacturing fault identified within six months will be exchanged or repaired. Faulty goods must be returned as soon as a defect is noticed. Please return in the original packaging or secure packaging via an insured and signed for postal service.  

    Items displaying damage deemed to be a result of excessive wear and tear, damage or carelessness will not be accepted under the terms of warranty. We will inspect your design and will contact you to confirm if the piece is deemed to be covered under warranty and to explain your alternative repair options and their costs.  

    We recommend taking out insurance to cover normal wear and tear and loss or theft and are happy to provide an insurance valuation on our Flora Bhattachary jewellery. Please be aware that our warranty does not include the replacement of central stones and these should be insured. 

    We strongly advise regular servicing and cleaning of your jewellery. Please feel free to contact us to book your piece into the workshop where we can assess and let you know of any required maintenance work and cost. Damage or loss as a result of failure to appropriately repair or maintain your jewellery will not be included in our warranty - including stone loss, product loss, theft, scratching, denting or bending the mount, claw wear or damage, chemical discolouration.  

    Please be aware that because of the nature of organic stones, we cannot always guarantee a perfect match to the original. We do our best to match but where we have to replace a component or remake a design, we may need to use the closest match that we can find. As our pieces are made by hand, slight differences be noticed in the final design.


    Import taxes, duties and additional local fees are NOT included in the price shown and are the sole responsibility of the customer to pay. Please be aware that any customs duties or taxes incurred by the posting of goods outside the UK, or returning goods back to the UK will be the responsibility of the purchaser.  We will do our best to ensure that these are covered within the postage and via the customs forms details, but international customs may occasionally require additional duties to be paid.  We have no control over these charges and unfortunately as a result we cannot advise on their amount. 


    All prices, unless otherwise stated, are inclusive of UK VAT. Our prices are shown inclusive of VAT at the current UK rate. We do not include taxes for international pricing.  Our UK VAT number is: 328140032.
